Sweet Dreams

The great reset of our system is rest, a good nights sleep can be exactly what we need in order to fuel ourselves & feel productive throughout the day. The big issue with our world today is that it’s moving faster & faster & there’s no chance of it slowing down anytime soon, in fact it will only continue to rapidly progress at an alarming rate that we as humans have never experienced before. The technological revolution is taxing the nervous system of the masses & generating a global reset, not only of our currency & economy, but also of our DNA, of our genetic makeup. We were never meant to be evolving at the speed of technology, but as most of the world has become dependent on it, the health of humanity is greatly being impacted by this destabilization of our cellular infrastructure.

“In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.”

More now than ever before people of the modern world are struggling with anxiety disorders, restless nights & insomnia. There are a lot of unpredictable occurrences happening in this time in history & it can be overwhelming to the senses to constantly absorb all the information we’re accessing through technology. It is creating a surge of new survival adaptations, mentally & emotionally for everyone to be able to “keep up” physically with the changing times. It can cause illness & disease, hopelessness & despair & multitude of other symptoms.

There are threats of a cyber attack, of food shortages, of inflation & on top of that is the health crisis of Covid & the world war. All these things happening simultaneously can send people into deep states of fear, leading to episodes of sleep paralysis, being unable to move or wake up from a dream state no matter how hard you try. It can cause nightmares & even staying up for days trying to process what is happening to our world. You may be asking yourself, what will happen? Will my family be okay? Will my personal information be hacked or crash altogether? Will we lose power? Will we lose connectivity? Will I be able to feed my children? Will I lose my job? Will I be able to keep my home? All these life threatening situations are driving people to the edge.

“Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth.”

|| Revelation‬ ‭3:10‬

What is the edge exactly? It could feel like a complete life crisis, a feeling of crippling doubt & uncertainty that leaves you anxious running around in a frenzy & feeling fearful of the unknown, of what your future holds, what the future of our nation holds. It could also turn into panic attacks & paranoia, into depressive episodes that make you question why you’re even here, making you feel like you want to give up & are stuck in a rut & unable to help yourself out of it, even unable to call out (ask) for help because you’re not even sure what you need help with, you just know deep within that what is taking place currently is stirring up thoughts & emotions within you, that you’d rather not deal with. This could be leading to alcohol consumption, drug use, narcotic abuse, binge eating, porn addiction, suicidal ideation, homicidal thoughts & a broad rage of other self harming behaviors.

On the other hand, this edge is the culmination, the peak of the human race at its finest, at it’s grand finale. This time in history is a monumental moment for the lives of all who are here, experiencing this great reset. These are the birthing pains before the climatic montage of events that are prophesied through scripture. These are the times that our faith will be put to the test. To see if when we are pushed to the edge, to our breaking point, if we will surrender & give it all up to God. Jump off the edge & straight into His Love. To live with reckless abandon & let it all go to live in His Omnipresence. In that free fall that feels like the end, like it’s your death, like it’s our death, is only the beginning of what is being birthed through the great reset of our times.

“Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.” || James‬ ‭1:2-6‬

It is the restoration of our faith that is being revealed to us during these unprecedented times. These are the days of revival & redemption. This is the road to our judgement day where we will all stand before the Son of Man & face our trial. Where we will proclaim our testimony from the rooftops & round up the children of God to be brought home to their eternal kingdom in heaven with the saints & believers. No matter if you believe or if you don’t, this can’t stop the trail you will be sent in the coming ages. We cannot out run this. We can’t escape humanity’s fate. This has been predestined before the creation of the world. These times have been set in motion long before the earth came into existence.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him. In love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace, with which he has blessed us in the Beloved.”

|| Ephesians‬ ‭1:3-6‬

Sweet dreams are made of these trying times. Now is the time to hope, to believe & to love, to worship & praise to celebrate & to mourn the death of this mortal existence, knowing that by your faith alone, in the Son of God that this is only the beginning of your life. What feels like end times are only the preparation for eternal life. Every mountain you climb in these days will strengthen your trust in the Father & He will move you in ways that you never could have imagined. If it weren’t for the times we are facing, we wouldn’t be on the brink of experiencing the most cataclysmic event in history taking place right before our eyes. This is the time to wake up from the dead, & truly come alive.

“My son, do not lose sight of these— keep sound wisdom and discretion, and they will be life for your soul and adornment for your neck. Then you will walk on your way securely, and your foot will not stumble. If you lie down, you will not be afraid; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. Do not be afraid of sudden terror or of the ruin of the wicked, when it comes, for the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught.”

|| Proverbs‬ ‭3:21-26

Imagine what your life would look like & feel like if you didn’t have access to all the (mis)information of the internet. Imagine how “out of the know” you would be & how peaceful your life would be. How sweet your dreams would be, both at night when you lie your head down to sleep & when you are fully awake hoping & dreaming of your future. How excited would you be to get up each morning & bless your day with the silence of your mind & to hear the mighty word of God speaking directly to you, like you are His beloved friend? The Living God breathing life upon you through the Holy Spirt. Protecting you & guiding your life. What would it be like for you to lay your life down at His feet & let Him walk the earth in your body. Speaking, eating, breathing, walking through you. Rooted so deep in your heart, mind & soul that you are One Flesh. Would you care so much about the world & the wars raging? Or would you be basking in the Glory of the Creator & giving thanks to Him for all of it?

“The Lord knows the days of the blameless, and their heritage will remain forever; they are not put to shame in evil times; in the days of famine they have abundance.” || Psalm‬ ‭37:18-19‬

How different would your experiences & your life be if Jesus Christ was the center of your attention? How much more free time would you have on your hands? How much more love would you have to give to your family, friends & community? How much generosity would you gather in the abundance of the Maker of all things? Knowing that with Him you lack absolutely nothing & gain absolutely everything. How much peace would you bring upon the earth with your belief in the Most High outcome. How much easier would you sleep knowing that the world has already been Saved? Knowing that you have a seat saved for you at the table of eternal feasting. A place where you will never hunger, never thirst, never fear, never suffer, never sleep. A palace of everlasting light & life.

“As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?” And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray. And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains. “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake. And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” || Matthew‬ ‭24:3-14‬
