Divine Direction

Mercury goes retrograde on Tuesday and on Wednesday we have a new moon in Pisces! An active astrological week that will shake us up to release any old patterns and push us into slowly incorporating new ones through the actions we decide to take. You may feel like your life seems out of your hands this week, it is divine timing playing a role in your life. Embrace it and try to stay as least resistant to change as possible as it feels as if things are being set into motion by the Divine whether we’re “ready” for it or not. Be gentle, but honest with yourself this week to get the most growth out of it.

Sunday 3/3: We start the week on 3/3, the number three represents a number of ascended masters, the trinity, a unity of the mind, body and soul. I am hearing the word “cycles”. Ending old cycles that don’t align our mind, body and soul and starting new ones by making new choices from a more conscious state. As we lead up to Mercury going retrograde on the 5th we have the Knight of swords showing up to show us where we may still be in the energy of defense and irrationality. Using our words to hurt others as a form of protection, from the feelings we’re truly feeling in our heart with the Knight of Cups also showing up. It’s showing us where we need to balance our mind and heart. We may have strong feelings and emotions starting off the week, but this is saying to not act too impulsive from those feelings. Observe them for now, truly listen to all of them, find out what ones are from love and what ones are from fear and begin to discard. With the way the cards are facing each other it is saying to me that it’s time to leave this energy of the knight of swords who look like “he’s” rushing away from the knight of cups, “his” feelings. This is the egos way of protecting the heart from being open and expressive. Hold off on expressing your feelings until you have them sorted out as the way you communicate may be perceived harshly today. Mercury retrograde always affects our communication, it can sometimes cause “foot in mouth” syndrome. When we react too quickly from lower based emotions it tends to create conflict and miscommunication. Be aware of your words and how you communicate with intimate relationships (friends, family, partners, co-workers) this week, especially on Sunday.

Monday 3/4: Love is in the air today, creating a sense of ease. Venus, the planet of love, abundance, beauty and values recently moved into Aquarius late last week and will be there until March 26th. With The Lovers showing up for Monday I feel a sense of needing to make a decision to walk away from what isn’t serving you so you can leave this energy of mental confusion. I’m also picking up on being deeply connected to your inner divine feminine energy. A good day for self love and romancing yourself. As you do this the mental fog; six of swords will lift and you feel yourself moving to calmer waters. Being in Pisces season and the mix of the Aquarius “spacey” energy we can tend to feel a bit ungrounded and get caught up in our emotions which will cause more mental confusion. Focus on feeling your emotions and sitting with them without reacting and not getting caught up in them. It can be easy to daydream during this time, and having a vision, especially of love is great, but make sure to stay in your body as a way to keep the fear and mental fog to a minimum. This is a great day to get some exercise and connect with Earth energy, through a nature walk, a hike, a beach day, swimming, a run, or if it is winter where you are and it’s hard to get outside and enjoy yourself you can try visualization techniques. Meditation Example: Close your eyes and imagine yourself walking barefoot on the beach or grass, allow yourself to “paint a picture” of your surroundings, who do you want by your side, what do you smell, how do you feel, what do you see? Sit in meditation and allow yourself to stay there until you begin to feel connected to Earth Energy. You will feel a strong pulsating in your heart chakra and you feel supported, like you’re being held by your mother as a newborn, you feel a sense of peace that covers your entire body. As you do this you will begin to ground yourself and you will have a clear direction of where you’re going. Another great way to connect with nature is through having flowers and plants in your home, they help to purify the energy and raise the vibration of the home. You can also cook a plant based dinner, just cutting up vegetables can be a practice to help you ground. Enjoy yourself through sensuality and take good care of your body today! This creates a nice balance of spirituality and practicality.

Tuesday 3/5: Today is the day… Mercury goes retrograde, a lot of people complain about Mercury going retrograde and they tend to blame the planet for their own unawareness. But this is actually a great time to shift your perspective about a challenging situation. Really check in with your values as Venus is at play during this time. Today I’m getting a sense of feelings becoming clear through the contrast of the energy that Mercury retrograde often brings, confusion. I get that today your emotions may be roaring underneath the surface, they are wanting to break through and you may feel yourself being pushed faster than your mind wants to go, but it’s important for you to remember that all is happening for your greatest good. This energy will force you into the King of Cups dwelling within. I sense your feelings are what will keep you going and what is keeping your head above water, so to speak. We may feel a sense of suffocating or drowning in a sea of emotions, this is teaching us how to go deeper into our heart space, deeper into our emotions. How to take action from our feelings instead of feeling deeply, but acting from the ego or mind. You may receive communication or a declaration of love on this day. I am loving the mix of venus in aquarius and mercury retrograde, I feel it is helping us get clarity in relationships, mostly with ourselves, as all relationships are reflections of the relationship with ourselves. We’re quickly shifting from the knight of cups to king of cups. I am picking up greatly on the divine masculine energy, this sense of not being able to contain “himself”, wanting to become this king of cups that “he” feels deep within. “He” is struggling to learn how to become this man. “He” has not been taught by the men before “him” and so “he” is having to teach himself. I sense the masculine is putting in the work to become the version of himself that “he” knows “he” can be in order to have the kind of relationship “he” truly desires, not what “he’s” been taught love is, through “his” parents and through society. Be gentle and understanding with the men in your life as they become aware of this within themselves. They may want to beat themselves up, deny it and this will reflect through destructive behavior and harsh communication to others as a reflection of the harsh communication they have going on within. Don’t take things at face value, there is a lot going on underneath the surface that they may have trouble communicating, as communicating feelings is foreign to most men. This is a great day for observation and reflection, spend time in your feelings and allow yourself to move from a space of deep love, all else is an illusion created by your mind to protect your heart.

Wednesday 3/6: We have a new moon in Pisces today, a great day to set intentions for the next cycle, what do you want to manifest? Get really clear and focused today. Try tasking and keeping your hands busy, but your mind receptive. Be mindful today, focus on your breath to bring you back into the present moment. As you allow spirit to guide you and you open up to your feelings more you will see the bigger picture for your life, you will open up to your destiny. I sense the crown chakra is wide open and we’re able to tap into ancient divine wisdom to guide us at this time. It’s a great time to meditate and do yoga to receive this guidance. You may feel like you don’t know where you’re going, these are only fears coming from the ego, when you tap into your feelings you feel completely supported. It's about trusting yourself, trusting the guidance you’re receiving. You may feel deeply loved by The Divine today. A good day to pray and spend time with our soul as it is the one with the map. Take it easy today and just allow yourself to feel surrounded by love. You may feel distanced from love physically, but I’m getting this is helping us find the infinite love that is always dwelling within. When we access this eternal love we feel a sense of love overflowing from us, making us be able to give endlessly because we always feel fulfilled through the Divine. I feel it’s about filling your own cup with divine love before making any offers of love to anyone at this time. Allowing yourself to mature and grow with love so that you are deeply committed when the time is “right”. I am picking up on Divine timing with these cards. I sense a feeling of wanting to express love, but there’s still a need to be deeply connected to the heart space before this happens. Accept this and allow yourself to go with the flow, you’re being lead to the right place and right time. I’m getting a sense that the Divine is helping to heal and to let go of deeply held beliefs of control so that you can step into your authentic power, which isn’t about control or dominance, it’s a gentle, loving assertiveness that is understanding and cooperative. Being teachable and remembering you don’t always know best is key. Notice today where you want to control every detail of your life and when things don't go your way how you feel and how you want to react. This will teach you a lot about yourself and how to approach a challenge or confrontation and conflict in a new way.

Thursday 3/7: It’s a week of reflection and today is a great day to reflect on how far you’ve come, all that you have been through and have accomplished. In the midst of intense energy we can get caught up in the lack, but this only brings more of that to you. With the Judgement card coming up I feel this is about how honest we are with ourselves. Where can we be more aware of who we are and what we want. I feel as we focus on what we have it will bring us a sense of renewal and expansion. Open your arms wide to the divine and receive “his” love. Often times we close ourselves off because we don’t feel worthy of receiving immense love. But it is our birthright, these thoughts we have of not being good enough were taught to us through our parents and society. They are deeply ingrained beliefs and can be difficult to see within ourselves. When we don't acknowledge or deal with these feelings of inadequacy they are energetically still controlling our lives subconsciously and we continue to attract situations in which we don’t feel good enough. It’s a good day to make a list of all the things you love about yourself. Focus on these qualities every time you feel doubt arise. Your worry is unfounded and you are moving closer to the light. The light can be unfamiliar if we’ve spent our life in the dark. Being in the dark is easy because in the dark we can stay in denial. This is saying to me, don't fall back into old habits of doing things just because it feels “safe”. Our soul will push us out of our comfort zone in order for us to grow. We can either work with this energy or we can work against it, but either way the lesson will be learned. You decide if it will be learned through challenge or surrender. What I’m getting is; focusing on your value is what is unfamiliar, building yourself up is a challenge because all you’ve ever known is how to tear yourself down. But doing this, encouraging yourself, valuing yourself, loving yourself is what will make the greatest shift. Instead of dwelling on the lack in your life, focus on the abundance that surrounds you. It’s a great day to start a gratitude journal! Stop and give yourself a pat on the back today because you deserve it! Get out of your own way so that the Divine can give you what you want.

Friday 3/7: A feeling of overwhelm due to many different choices, seven of cups energy. You may feel heavy today as the past is coming up to be seen and purged so that your choice can become more clear to you. You may feel emotionally unstable today as the mind is going into overdrive as a result of the Divine love you’re feeling. Stay present today as The Devil shows up in sneaky ways. I’m picking up on self sabotage, not knowing what decision to make, procrastination, so it ends up being made for you. Usually when that decision is made for us. It’s not always what we want, but because we couldn’t make it on our own we have to accept what is. This is a lesson that is humbling. It’s important not to beat yourself up. If you feel clouded and unsure today know that it will pass if you can find your center and sit with your feelings. Get in tune to your body so that you can make a decision that feels good in your body, because that will be a decision based on love and intuition. If you make a decision from tension and contraction in the body, you’re making a decision from resistance and fear. You may want to make a practical decision (Capricorn energy) but what I’m getting is to actually take a leap of faith and make a decision more from your spiritual senses. Focus less on material gain and more on spiritual growth. Do what is going to help you grow, not what is going to make your ego feel “safe”. Try something new today, step out of your comfort zone, express your true self, let your freak flag fly! This will set a new path for you and in making the decision to do something new will open up doors for you. Change does not have to be grand, it’s actually the most mundane choices we make that create the most change long term. We have to take the first step and the Universe will meet us, only after we make the decision to let go and move forward in the direction of our hearts. Follow your heart above all else today, even if it doesn’t make logical sense, eventually it will and you’ll look back and understand why and be so happy!

Saturday 3/9: Your desires are strong today, you may feel the need to explore or travel, whether this be externally, such as going on a trip or internally, journeying to meet your soul. Either way this is causing some kind of conflict. You may have fears that are keeping you from doing this. You may feel the need to win and this is stopping you from manifesting what you desire. It is important to get clear on what you want. Work on your confidence, as you become more confident you generally gain more clarity. Your mind wants things to go a certain way and when it doesn’t go as planned we can tend to get upset because we had expectations. I’m getting to keep an open mind, allow your desires to unfold in their own way, don’t force, push, or try to manipulate what you want, simply focus on what you want without attachment to how it comes to you. Stay in the energy of innocence and wonder so that it comes to you with a sense of magic. If you are rigid about it, it will most likely feel like defeat. If you see it from the perspective of the soul you will know that it is bringing you growth and what you asked for. I hear opportunity, so you may receive an opportunity and this may bring up conflict. I’m getting that this opportunity may not happen exactly how you envision it and this can cause conflict or it can create tremendous growth, it depends on how you CHOOSE to see it and react. Be conscious of your thoughts. The inner child tends to act out, but what it is seeking is attention from self. Give your inner child attention today, stay playful and joyful as this will keep you open and receptive to what you desire and will ease the inner conflict and you’ll be able to approach this opportunity from a new perspective.

There is a force greater than you that is in control right now, can you accept this and allow the energy to move through you and let it shed the parts of you that need to go? Let go and surrender to your destiny, what is meant for you will not miss you, all is happening in divine timing, there's no need to rush, there’s no need to resist, just be and know that all is working out for your highest good. TRUST, have faith, love is your pillar at this time as it is likely you feel out of control. Enjoy the unfolding of your life and know that what is here and what is coming will be amazing. If you fear the future you’re too attached to the outcome and need to take a step back. If you’re ready to leap, it’s time to trust yourself enough to know that it’s the right time to move forward and follow through with the divine guidance.
