Day 5 of 31 Days of Prayer

{Personal Entry} 10/5/22

Father God in heaven, I pray to you today with all supplication that you would direct my steps as I labor & toil. I ask that you would be my stronghold & I pray for your strength & fellowship as I steward my home & the home of my fellow employers. Lord, I pray that you would help me labor with love for you & that you would be my motivation. I pray for your peace that surpasses all understanding as I work. I pray that you would guide my actions today & help me to make choices that glorify you. You are my strength, Lord. & I put my hope in you today. Use me to being honor to your name. Help me to be more like you today, Father. I pray for you love that abounds & that you would give graciously to me your wisdom & I pray that I would use this wisdom to glorify you, Lord. I pray that you would uphold me with your righteous right hand today & lead me not into temptation, but deliver me from evil. I give you all authority over my mind, body & soul to let your will be done, Lord. I ask that you would cover me in your blood & seal me with your Holy Spirit. I pray for your spiritual protection & discernment. I pray that you would guard my heart from the flaming darts of the enemy & that you would shield my mind with your holiness, Jesus. Be a lamp unto my feet & direct me in the ways of your Truth, Father. I pray for your steadfast love & faithfulness to fill me today. I lean on your understanding today & not my emotions. I give my burdens to you & yoke my spirit to your light, Lord. I surrender my own agenda today & let you have control over my life. I know that you will help me to move in the right direction, even when I cannot see the path myself. Teach me your ways & help me abide in you me word & your Law today. Help me to mature spiritually & give me your patience to continue forward on this narrow road. Please intercede for me today & give me the ears to hear your voice. I want to be near to your today & I want those around me to feel your presence. Use me today as a vessel for the Holy Spirit to work through. Use me to glorify your name & your kingdom, Lord. I pray for your goodness to pour out of me & that when people see me, they know who you are. I pray for the salvation of those who I love, Father. I pray that you would use me to reconcile souls back to your kingdom. I ask that you would have mercy on them & that you would continue to reveal yourself to all those who are seeking you, but may be looking in all the wrong places. I pray that you would come upon those who are in need today & you would bless them with your Holy Spirt & they would feel held & comforted & seen & loved & cared for, Father. Thank you for you amazing grace & for all the ways you work in my life & the lives of others. Your love is unfailing & your promises stand true, Lord. Thank you for giving me security & a safe place to land. I am grateful for our relationship, Jesus. No one has ever loved me like you do & you’re all I’ve ever wanted. Thank you for filling a void in my heart that ached for so long. You give me life & peace, Lord. I am forever thankful for your presence in my life. When I once felt defeated by loneliness, you’ve given me victory in communion with you. I have longed for this love for so long & you fulfill everyone of my desires. I need you, Jesus & I will never stop needing you. You have been to me a tall tower that I can run to & find safety. Thank you for giving me a second chance & for a new life. You are so faithful, Lord & I love you with all my heart, all my soul & all my mind. I pray this all in the beautiful & mighty name of Jesus Christ.
