Day 3 of 31 Days of Prayer

{Personal Entry} 10/3/22

Father God in heaven, I pray to you today & ask that you would be by my side as I continue to move forward on my path. I don’t always see the plan, but I trust your purpose & I lean on your understanding. Help me to carry my emotions today so that I don’t have to carry around the weight & burden. I pray for your strength to uphold me today so that I may withstand the temptations of the enemy. I secure myself with the belt of truth & I stand firm in my faith. I pray for your continued healing in my life. Continue to help me heal emotionally. This time of year my emotions are big, but I know your peace is bigger. Surround me with your holiness, Lord & cover me in your blood. I want to be in your presence today & I want to call upon you for all my needs. I know that your love will never end & that you will never forsake me or abandon me. I know that I can do all things through you & the power of your Holy Spirit. I ask for your help today, that you would give me your grace & mercy as I continue to grow in your vine. Help me to abide in your word, Lord. Teach me your ways & direct me in the narrow path to eternal life. I pray for health & wellness in my body. I ask that you would help me make choices that glorify you. I want to honor the temple you’ve give me & I pray for your self-control & discipline. Help me to become the most Christ-like version of myself so that I can glorify your name. Use me today to proclaim the good news of the gospel & the glory of your kingdom. I surrender my will to you today, Father & I let your will be done. Give me the patience to persevere through challenges & help me to keep my eyes fixed upon you, Lord. I want to set my mind on things that are above & I ask that you purify my thoughts & align them with yours. Humble me today, Lord & give me the eyes to see & the ears to hear your commands for me. I submit to you & your ways & I trust in your plans for me. I pray that you would reveal yourself to me today & show me that you are near. I ask that you would watch over me & my family & that you would send them the comforter & counselor of the Holy Spirit to be with them. I pray that you would show them who you are & that you would save their souls & they would come into your kingdom & be born again. I want them to know your peace & your love & your joy, Lord. Be with them while I can’t & lead them not into temptation, but deliver them from evil. I pray for my families salvation & that they would come to know you & love you like I do. I pray that they would lay down their life at the cross & be made new, Lord. I pray for spiritual discernment & protection & ask that you would shine a light on the schemes of the evil one. Use me to expose him & bring your children back into the light of life. I pray for the right words to speak at the right time & I pray for your wisdom & that I would use your wisdom righteously, Lord. I pray for your closeness, Father. I want to know more of who you are. Wrap me in your warm embrace & hold me near to you today. I want to cling to you today, Jesus. You are my firm foundation & my security. Thank you for making me your daughter when I felt lost & forgotten. Thank you for leaving the 99 to come in search of me. I am so grateful that you found me. You have delivered me & saved my soul & I cannot thank you enough for all you’ve done for me & all the ways you provide for me. You are so good, Lord & I thank you for making a way for me when there was no way. I will praise you in the unknown because in the uncertainty I know that you are certain. You are the same today, tomorrow & forever, Lord. Thank you for changing me & making me a new creation in your image. You have given me a reason to live & I put my hope in you today. You alone are enough & in you I have everything I need & so much more. Thank you for your unsearchable riches, Christ. I pray that your love & joy abound in my life today & the lives of others who may be suffering today, Father. Show them that you’re here & that you’re listening, always. You are my prince of peace & my king of kings, Lord. I love you with all my heart, all my soul & all my mind. I pray this all in the beautiful & mighty name of Jesus Christ.
