Day 24 of 31 Days of Prayer

{Personal Entry} 10/24/22

Father God in heaven, I pray to you today & ask that you would incline your ear to my prayers & to my longings for you. I pray for your steadfast love to be my anchor & firm foundation. Help me to lean on you & not my own understanding. I put my trust in you & let you lead the way. I pray for your strength to abound in my weaknesses today & ask that you would uphold me with your righteous right hand. Deliver me from evil & help me to withstand the temptations of the enemy, Lord. I put on the full armor of God & ask for your spiritual protection, for your holy fire to encamp around me & be a fortress against the darkness. Be a lamp unto my feet & direct my steps. I pray that you would establish my plans & give me clarity around my next steps forward. Reveal your plans for me & show me how to proceed, Lord. I pray for a spirit of boldness to accomplish your purpose for me & for a spirit of gentleness to do it with grace & ease. Help me to carry my burdens today, mentally & emotionally. Yoke your spirit to mine, Jesus & walk with me through the unknown. I pray for the confidence of God to be my solid ground & that I would be rooted in love. I pray for your peace that surpasses understanding, Lord. Lead me beside still waters today & bring rest to my soul. I ask that you would give me self-control & discipline when it comes to studying & reading your word. Give me delight in your ways, Father & help me to trust in them. I put my hope in you today & surrender my future into your Potters hands. Mold me into who you want me to be. I lay my life down at the foot of the cross & I let your will be done, Lord. You are the Maker of my soul & I let you shape my character. Make me more like Jesus & less like me. I want to see the would like you do. I want to love others like you do, Lord. Help me to be a better Christian & continue to minister to my heart & teach me your precepts. I am hungry for more knowledge about who you are & who I am in you, Father. Send me the Holy Spirit to guide me & give me your wisdom & I pray that you would help me to apply it to my daily life, so that I can grow in my faith & mature spiritually. I pray that you would water the seeds planted in my heart & soul & help them to bear fruit for your kingdom to harvest. I pray that you would help me plant seeds on good soil & that you would tend to them & help them to grow in faith  & knowledge, Lord. I pray for the lost souls that are desperately searching for you in all the wrong places, that are seeking the world & the things of it & that are leaning on addictions to cope & numb their emotions. I pray they would call out to you in their desperation & you would hear them & come to them & be their Healer. I pray they would feel a godly grief that would bring them into repentance & you would save their souls & set them free from their god-shaped hole in their lives & it would be filled with your living water & out of it would flow streams of eternal peace & love, Lord. I thank you for rescuing me from myself & giving me a reason & a purpose to keep living. You are my Savior & I am so grateful it your presence in my life. You bring me a great joy & contentment & your peace abounds. I love you forever, Lord. With all my heart, all my soul, all my mind, & all my strength. I pray this all in the beautiful & mighty name of Jesus Christ.
