Father God in heaven, I pray to you today with all trust in your ways. I know that you are working in the waiting & I pray for your patience & strength as I continue to deepen my faith & trust in you. I ask that you would lead me today, Lord. Be my compass & direct me by your will. I surrender my own will & let yours be done. I pray for peace that surpasses understanding & I ask that you would purify my thoughts. Please fill my mind with your Holy Spirit & help me to walk by faith & not by sight. I lean on your understanding & give my emotions to you. Help me carry them today & yoke your spirit to mine so I don’t have to do it alone. I lay my pride down at the foot of the cross & I submit to you & your commands for me today. I put my hope in you & let go of the need to control. I place my future in your hands & let you shape it with your wonderful works, Lord. You are putting my life back together & I acknowledge your presence today. Give me the eyes to see you & the ears to hear your voice. I want to be close to you today, Father. I want to intimately know you & be known by you. I pray for your self-control & discipline to study your word & be fervent in prayer today. I am hungry for your flesh, Jesus. I want to consume more of you & less if the world. Help me to abide in your vine & produce the fruit of your Spirit. Help me to withstand the battle between flesh & soul, Lord. I need your strength to be perfected in my weakness today. I pray for your stability to keep me grounded & rooted in love. Help me to fix my eyes upon the cross & the work you did. It is finished. I thank you for dying for me & paying my debt, Jesus. I pray for your faith to move mountains & for your spirit of zeal to accomplish & proceed with my personal goals. Give me a spirit of boldness to proclaim the gospel & to share my personal testimony. I want to honor & glorify you with my work, Lord. I pray for restoration of relationships, Father. I ask that you would help me rebuild old relationships & build new ones rooted in Christ. Help me to be a better Christian, a better mentor & teacher, a better friend & daughter & sister & aunt & worker. I want to glorify you in every way & in every relationship. I want you to be the center of all things. I want you to increase & for me to decrease. I pray for your purpose to be fulfilled, Lord. Use me for your kingdom, to build it up & help it grow. Send me people that are going to edify me & help me grow in my faith & in your word. Teach me all your ways, Lord. I pray for your spiritual protection, for me & my loved ones. Guard our hearts & minds from the principalities in the unseen places, Father. Be our shield & refuge & deliver us from evil. I thank you, Lord, for all you’ve done in my life & all you’ve given me. Thank you for giving me a reason to keep living. I am so grateful you saved my soul & my life. You mean so much to me & I want everyone to know how good you are, Jesus. Without you I would be so lost & lonely, but you have redeemed me & called me your own. You are mine & I am yours & I feel so loved & take care of by you. You are the provider & father I always needed & I am so grateful I have you in my life now. You make everything more beautiful. You are such a faithful God who keeps his promises & is abounding in mercy & grace. Thank you for loving me even when I fall short & for never giving up on me or leaving me, Lord. I love you so much. With all my heart, all my soul, all my mind & all my strength. I pray this all in the beautiful & mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Amen
“The one who has the bride is the bridegroom. The friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly at the bridegroom’s voice. Therefore this joy of mine is now complete. He must increase, but I must decrease.” He who comes from above is above all. He who is of the earth belongs to the earth and speaks in an earthly way. He who comes from heaven is above all. He bears witness to what he has seen and heard, yet no one receives his testimony. Whoever receives his testimony sets his seal to this, that God is true. For he whom God has sent utters the words of God, for he gives the Spirit without measure. The Father loves the Son and has given all things into his hand. Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.”
John 3:29-36
