Day 17 of 31 Days of Prayer

{Personal Entry} 10/17/22

Father God in heaven, I pray to you today with all thanksgiving for leading me deeper into communion with you. I have felt so close to you & even when I don’t quite understand your plan, I trust in you & I feel at peace knowing that you are in control, that I don’t have to figure it all out, because you already have. You’ve taken the weight off my shoulders & my confidence is building as I continue to take steps forward, blindly obeying you & your commands. I pray today for self-control & discipline. Help me to discern between my flesh & spirit, Lord. Have patience with me as I continue to walk in the spirit & give into my flesh. Help me to walk in your ways & submit to your voice, Father. I want to be under your protection & I want to walk on the narrow path. I pray that you would be my strength in times of weakness & you would be my backbone, holding me up & supporting me in time of need you are my firm foundation in which I stand confidently & boldly leaning on you & your understanding, Lord. You are the anchor that keeps me humbled & grounded. Rooted in hope in love. I pray for your wisdom, Lord & that you would use it to help me grow spiritually. I pray that the seeds that are being planted in my soul & mind & heart, you would continue to water & help them to become a bountiful harvest for the kingdom of heaven to reap. I pray that you would use me to plant seeds on good soil & that you would fertilize them & help them to grow a hundredfold. I ask that you would be near to me today & guide me with your Holy Spirit. Help me to rest in your presence, even while active in my daily life, Lord. Shepard my soul, Jesus. Lead me not into temptation, but deliver me from evil. I put on the full armor of God & I obey your every command. Protect me from the flaming darts of the enemy & guard my heart from his schemes, Lord. I pray for my loved ones spiritual protection. I ask that you would send them the Comforter & the Counselor of the Holy Spirit to help them in times of need. I pray for their salvation & I ask that you would reveal yourself to them. Make yourself known to them supernaturally. Incline your ear to their groanings too deep for words & deliver them from the snares of sin. Set them free from the captor of their souls. & put within them a new spirit & a new heart, Father. Be to them the loving father that you are & that they all need & make them a new creation in Christ Jesus. I pray that they would surrender their life to Him & be born again to the King of Kings & they would know what it feels like to be truly loved, truly cared for & truly seen for who they are in you. I pray that they would lay down their pride at the foot of the cross & they would be given the right to be called children of God. I love them with groanings too deep for words, Father & I want them in the kingdom with me for eternity. Please show them your mercy & grace & give them a taste of your living water so they may no longer thirst for the things of this world. & fill them full of your daily bread so they may not hunger for the things of their flesh, Lord. I pray that you would call them home in your perfect time & by your will alone. I pray for your love & peace to abound in their life today & always, Lord. I thank you for all the ways you’ve changed me & have softened my heart towards those who have hurt me & thank you for teaching me how to love again, how to live with faith & hope & trust. I am forever grateful for your death & for saving my soul from the pits of hell. You are my redeemer, Lord. & I thank you for paying my debt & setting me free from slavery. I love you, with all my heart, all my soul, all my mind & all my strength. I pray this all in the beautiful & mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Amen

“My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me,is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one.”
