Day 16 of 31 Days of Prayer

{Personal Entry} 10/16/22

Father God in heaven, I pray to you today & I ask you to carry the weight of my emotions. Yoke your spirit to mine & help me to hold them tenderly & gently. I pray for your grace to abound in my life today. I need to feel the warmth of your presence. Be near to me & hold my hand in yours, Father. I pray that you would reveal yourself to me today, make yourself known, supernaturally. Help me to walk by faith & not by sight. I pray for your understanding & I cast my doubts onto you because I know that you care for me, Lord. I need to lay my life down at your feet today & pick up my cross & follow you. Lead me with your righteous right hand through the unknown & calm the raging sea within me, Jesus. Help me to rise above it all & see my life from your eyes, through your perspective. Yes, my emotions are big today, but your peace is so much bigger & I know that with you all things are possible, with man they are impossible, but I will put my hope in you alone & let your will be done. I surrender my heart to you, Father & let you shape me today. Help me to take my thoughts captive to you & to pray without ceasing. Speak to me today through your word. I want to hear your voice. Help me to block out the noise of the world & fix my gaze upon you, Lord. I want to submit to you & your ways today & always. Continue to teach me you precepts & minister to my heart. I ask that you would give me a spirit of boldness to proclaim your name, Lord. But also give me a spirit of quietness to exemplify who you are in me. You are a gentle whispering, yet a roaring lion & I want to glorify who you are in the way I live my life. Help me, Father, to be a mentor to those who desire to seek you & know you more. Help me to be a more godly woman & lead the next generation into the Kingdom of Christ. I pray that you would use me to inspire young women to have a relationship with you & how important it is to live by your Word. I want to use my influence for you, Jesus. I want to reconcile souls back to the Father, through teaching them about you & your goodness & your salvation & your everlasting life. Use my testimony to display your redemption & your healing, Lord. You have given me new life & I want to exclaim it to all the earth. Use my spiritual & creative gifts to showcase your wonderful works, Father. Let your light shine through me for all those to see your mercy & beauty. You are my rock & my fortress & on you I stand firm in my faith & I live it out for all to see. Not me, but You, Father. I want people to look at me & see you. I want people to interact with me & know you. I want people to come into my presence & feel your unwavering, unfailing love & know your peace that surpasses understanding. I pray, Father, for your order in the chaos of the world. I pray that you would come upon us & soften our hearts towards you. Help us to abide in your Truth & Life & have patience with us as we move through these evil days. Send us all the Comforter & the Counselor of the Holy Spirit to be with us & help us in times of need & to guide our feet on the narrow path to life, for so many are choosing the broad path to death, Lord & I pray with all faith that you would intervene & that you would break their mass hypnosis by Satan & lead them back home, to the Way & the Truth & the everlasting Life in Jesus. I love you, Lord, with all my heart, all my soul, & all my mind. I pray this all in the beautiful & mighty name of Jesus Christ.
