Day 14 of 31 Days of Prayer

{Personal Entry} 10/14/22

Father God in heaven, I pray to you today & I ask that you would perfect your strength in my weakness today, Lord. I pray that you would help me have self control & discipline with my health & diet. I ask that you would guide my actions today to help me reach my personal goals. I pray that you would help me to withstand the temptations of the enemy & guard my heart from his lies. Help me to see myself as you do, Lord. Make me in your image & build my character on the Rock. I take delight in your ways, Lord & I pray that you would continue to teach me how to be more like you. Establish your plans & lead me in the ways of your goodness, Father. I need you today, to protect me from the flaming darts of evil that are being thrown at me by the wicked one. & help me to lean on your understanding & not my emotions. I am feeling overly emotional today & I give them all over to you. Hold them tenderly in your hands & keep me in the midst of your peace, Lord. Hide me under the shadow of your wings & bring me into safety. Bring me into fellowship with who you are, Lord. I want to abide in the beauty of your almighty presence. Help me to fix my gaze upon you today & not my own worries. I cast all my anxiety on you today & I know that you care for me, Lord. You love me with an everlasting love & my faith is growing because of your faithfulness to me, Father. Please uplift me with your righteousness Lord. Direct my steps on the narrow path that you have laid before me. You already know where I am going because you go before me, Father & I trust your & your ways. Be to me a light in the darkness & reveal yourself to me. I want to know you more. I want to be in communion with you today, Lord. Speak to me through your word & through your people. Help me to be slow to speak, quick to hear your voice & slow to anger. I pray for the spiritual protection of my family & community, Lord. Be a shield to their hearts & minds & lead them with your supernatural power. I pray that you would be a safe place to lean on for all those who are suffering today. Incline your ear to their prayers. I ask that you would have mercy on those who are being led astray & that you would guide them back to eternal life. Use me to reconcile souls back to your kingdom & be a light in times of need. Help me to be a better disciple & send the Holy Spirit to work through me today. I pray that you would help me to labor with love for you today. To serve you with my worldly work & please carry my burdens today so that I can work with gratitude for all that I have. Thank you for providing for me, Father. You are such a gift to my life & I don’t know where I would be or who I would be without you. You continue to amaze me with your wonderful works in my life. I am forever thankful for your fruit that abounds in my life today. You’ve given me so much more that I could ever ask for, Lord. You are so good to me & I will spend the rest of my life trying to articulate your goodness. Thank you for hearing me & giving me the desires of my heart. I love you, Father. With all my heart, all my soul & all my mind. I pray this all in the beautiful & mighty name of Jesus Christ.
