Day 11 of 31 Days of Prayer

{Personal Entry} 10/11/22

Father God in Heaven, I pray to you today & ask that you would be my strength in my weakness, that you would be to me a stronghold in these evil days. I pray that you would make straight my paths & give me your Spirit of hope & clarity. I pray that your wisdom would abound & you would give me the self-control & discipline to apply it to my daily life. Be a light to my feet & direct me in your righteous ways. Help me to judge rightly & give me spiritual discernment so that I can separate the wheat from the weeds. Give me eyes to see your ways, Lord. & give me ears to hear your voice. Take away anything that is a stumbling block to my spiritual maturity & prune away what no longer bears fruit. I pray that you would uphold me with your Potters hands & shape my character. Make me in your image, Father. I want to be more like you & I want to love others how you have loved me. I pray that you would sharpen my spiritual gifts & use them to serve you & your kingdom. Help me to be a better disciple today & give me a spirit of boldness to proclaim your name. Fill me with your Holy Spirit & be to me an overflowing fountain of living water that never stops out pouring your grace, Lord. I need you today & everyday. You are my bridegroom & I will wait patiently for you. Make me holy & pure before you so that when the day comes I can stand before you, blameless. I ask that you would continue to minister to my heart & teach me your precepts, Lord. Help me to abide in your vine. Lead me not into temptation, but deliver me from evil. I pray that you would come upon the sleepers of this nation & come upon the spiritually blind & you would awaken their hearts & heal their minds & that they would be redeemed & would rise & fulfill their life purpose, in you Christ. That their lights would be turned on & they would draw others to your kingdom. I pray that you would continue to heal the sick & reveal the truth, Lord. Expose the darkness & help us to overcome this world by leaning on you & fixing our eyes upon the cross, knowing that the work is finished & you have defeated death. Give this day our daily bread, Lord & forgive us for our trespasses & give us your mercy & grace so that we can taste your goodness, Father. I pray for your return & ask that your come quickly. We, your followers have our oil burning & we will continue to work diligently for you, until the end of the age. Thank you for being with us. Thank you that you will never leave or forsake us. I am so grateful that I know you, Lord & that I am known by you. You are faithful, Father & I love you with all my heart, all my soul, all my mind & all my strength. I pray this all in the beautiful & mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us.’ But he answered, ‘Truly, I say to you, I do not know you.’ Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour.”
