Day 10 of 31 Days of Prayer

{Personal Entry} 10/10/22

Father God in heaven, I pray to you today & I ask that you would remove from me the spirit of anxiety & replace it with the spirit of peace & clarity. I pray that you would give me a spirit of power & love. I ask that you would shield me from any spiritual attacks & help me to withstand the flesh, Lord. I need you today. I need to cling to you today. You are my sanctuary, where I go to seek rest & relaxation. Help me to cast my worries onto you today. I know that you care for me, Father. I want to stay close to you today. Help me to stay rooted in my faith & be an anchor of hope for me today, Lord. I am experiencing emotions of hopelessness & I know that you are bigger than my human emotions. I choose to lean on your understanding & place my focus on you, Lord. I take every thought captive to obey you, Christ & I ask that you would help me to surrender what is out of my control & lay it down at your feet. I trust you, Father. I know that you know what’s best for me & I let your will be done. Teach me your ways, Lord. Help me to become a better student & help me to be more self-controlled & disciplined when it comes to studying the Word. I pray for patience today, to be able to stand firm in your ways. I pray that you would send the helper of the Holy Spirit to guide my thoughts & actions today. Give me clarity & reveal yourself & your plans to me today. Please be gracious with me as I continue to deepen my relationship with you. Help prepare me for love, Lord. So that what the opportunity presents itself I will be ready to let it in. Prepare me for intimacy, Jesus. I want to be close to another & you’re the only healthy example of love I’ve ever known. Be with me & teach me how to love like you, Father. I want to love like you do. I want to see the world & others through your eyes. Give me the eyes to see & the ears to hear your voice today. I want to communicate with you vulnerably & intimately. Speak to me through your word & through your people. What do you want me to know right now? How can I serve you today, Lord? How can I be a better Christian? I pray that you would use me to win souls for your kingdom. I pray that the seeds I’m planting right now fall on good soil & you would tend to them like the patient Gardner that you are & you would help them to grow into a bountiful harvest for heaven to reap. I pray that you would continue to minister to my heart & help me to abide in your vine, help me to produce the fruit of your spirit & give it to others. Make my actions genuine & honest. Work through me, Lord. I am your faithful servant & I want to honor you & showcase all you’ve done for me. I pray that you would use my testimony to glorify who you are & what you’re capable of. You have changed my life, Lord & I am so grateful for your loving-kindness. You are the light of my life & I want to let it shine for all to see. Give me a spirit of bravery & boldness to proclaim the good news of Jesus. I pray that you would bring peace upon those who are struggling with their mental health & that are stuck in a snare of fear laid by the enemy. I pray that you would break every chain of fear in the name of Jesus Christ & that you would set them free & that would be free indeed. I pray that you would cast out all unclean spirits from those who are held captive to sin & that you would heal their minds, bodies & souls & they would experience the supernatural power of your Holy Spirit that is still as mighty as ever before & I pray for the deliverance of all those who are practicing witchcraft & sex magic & that are exchanging the Truth for lies. I pray that they would come into repentance & you would forgive their transgressions & cleanse their souls of all wickedness & bring them back into the kingdom of Christ & redeem their spiritual gifts they’ve been using to work for Satan & you would use them for your glory & all heaven would rejoice at their return into the sheepfold. Thank you Jesus for being the Good Shepard & for calling us home & leading us beside still waters & bringing rest to our souls. I love you so much Lord, with all my heart, all my soul & all my mind. I pray this all in the beautiful & mighty name of Jesus Christ.
